Terms of service
September 8, 2026
Section 1
Scope of the service
These Terms govern access to and use of the market-data API, WebSocket services, REST services, website, documentation, and related services provided by Flowsig through flowsig.io.
Flowsig provides technical access to market-data feeds and related data services. The precise features, instruments, markets, data fields, rate limits, availability characteristics, and product entitlements applicable to a user depend on the applicable subscription, account state, pricing page, order terms, and service documentation.
During the beta period, Flowsig may add, remove, modify, or replace service features, data fields, instruments, schemas, and related capabilities as the platform evolves.
- real-time or near-real-time market data
- bid and ask quotes
- best bid and offer data
- trades and transaction data
- order-book data
- reference and instrument information
- derived or enriched market-data information
- REST APIs
- WebSocket APIs
- related documentation and software interfaces
Section 2
Beta and experimental service
The service is currently provided as a beta and experimental service and remains under active development.
By using the service, you acknowledge that bugs, data-quality issues, regressions, interruptions, and behavioral changes may occur, and that the product may be suspended, modified, or discontinued during this phase.
Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, Flowsig does not provide any guaranteed service level, uptime commitment, latency commitment, or data completeness commitment during the beta period.
- the service may contain bugs, errors, or defects
- data may be missing, duplicated, delayed, stale, incorrect, or inconsistent
- feeds may experience interruptions or outages
- instruments, markets, or data fields may become temporarily or permanently unavailable
- API behavior, endpoints, schemas, and message formats may change
- performance and latency may vary
- historical data may contain gaps or inconsistencies
- the service may be suspended, modified, or discontinued
Section 3
Market-data disclaimer
The service provides technical market-data access and related reference information only. Market data is inherently subject to errors, delays, interruptions, discrepancies, and external dependencies.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Flowsig does not warrant that any market data supplied through the service is accurate, complete, current, uninterrupted, timely, suitable for a particular purpose, free from errors, or identical to data displayed by another provider.
The service may depend on third-party infrastructure, aggregators, brokers, venues, or other data sources. Flowsig cannot guarantee the availability, continuity, accuracy, or characteristics of third-party data.
- accurate
- complete
- current
- uninterrupted
- timely
- suitable for a particular purpose
- free from errors
- identical to third-party displayed data
Section 4
No investment or trading advice
Nothing provided through the service constitutes investment advice, financial advice, trading advice, a recommendation to buy or sell any instrument, an offer or solicitation to buy or sell any instrument, a valuation, a guarantee of execution price, or a guarantee of trading or investment performance.
You remain solely responsible for determining whether and how to use the data and for independently verifying information before using it for trading, investment, risk-management, or other consequential purposes.
Section 5
No sole reliance
The service should not be used as the sole source of information for decisions where inaccurate, delayed, incomplete, or unavailable data could cause financial loss or other material harm.
You are responsible for implementing appropriate validation, monitoring, failover, incident handling, and risk-control mechanisms for your intended use. Unless an appropriate written agreement expressly provides otherwise, the service should not be treated as a guaranteed source of data for automated trading or other systems where a data error or interruption could result in material loss.
Section 6
Third-party data and provider rights
Certain data made available through the service may originate from or depend upon third-party providers. Such data may be subject to separate terms, licenses, restrictions, and usage conditions.
You must not assume that access to data through the service grants an independent right to redistribute, publish, display, or commercially exploit the underlying third-party data. Flowsig may restrict or terminate access to particular data where required by a provider relationship, licensing arrangement, or applicable law.
- use restrictions
- storage restrictions
- display restrictions
- redistribution restrictions
- commercial exploitation restrictions
Section 7
Permitted use
Subject to these Terms and the applicable subscription, Flowsig grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable right to access and use the service for internal business or personal use consistent with the product documentation and account entitlements.
Any redistribution, white-labeling, public display, downstream resale, or commercial re-use of market data are not permitted.
Section 8
Accounts and API credentials
API keys, login credentials, session access, and other authentication credentials are confidential and must be protected. You are responsible for activity performed using your credentials, except to the extent caused by Flowsig's own failure to maintain the security of its systems.
You must notify Flowsig promptly if you believe your credentials have been compromised. Flowsig may suspend, rotate, revoke, or restrict credentials where reasonably necessary to respond to compromise, abuse, excessive usage, legal requirements, provider restrictions, or platform security concerns.
Section 9
Rate limits and acceptable use
The service may be subject to technical and contractual limits, including requests per second, WebSocket connection limits, subscription limits, bandwidth limits, concurrent connection limits, and data-retention limits. Flowsig may temporarily restrict or suspend access where usage threatens platform stability, security, availability, or provider obligations.
You must not attempt to bypass authentication, quotas, request limits, subscription limits, bandwidth controls, or any other technical or contractual restriction applicable to the service.
- resell access to the service
- sublicense API credentials
- provide API access to third parties without authorization
- redistribute raw market data without authorization
- operate a competing market-data redistribution service from delivered output unless expressly permitted
- circumvent rate limits or technical restrictions
- attempt to bypass authentication or access controls
- reverse engineer security mechanisms
- interfere with or disrupt the service
- scrape or systematically reproduce the service outside the documented API
- use another user's credentials
- use the service in violation of applicable law or third-party rights
Section 10
Availability and maintenance
Flowsig will use commercially reasonable efforts to operate the service, but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability unless a separate written service-level agreement applies.
The service may be unavailable due to scheduled maintenance, emergency maintenance, infrastructure failures, network failures, third-party provider failures, upstream data outages, cybersecurity incidents, force majeure events, or other circumstances beyond Flowsig's reasonable control.
Section 11
Changes to the service
Flowsig may modify the service, including its APIs, supported instruments, data sources, message formats, rate limits, and technical architecture.
During the beta period, changes may occur more frequently than they would in a generally available production service. Where reasonably practicable, Flowsig may provide notice of material breaking changes.
Section 12
Customer responsibilities
You are responsible for your own systems, infrastructure, security posture, credential handling, legal compliance, and operational use of the service.
You are also responsible for verifying data before relying on it, obtaining any rights or licenses required for your downstream use, ensuring that your use of the service does not infringe third-party rights, and maintaining appropriate backup, monitoring, failover, and risk-management mechanisms for your environment.
- your own systems and infrastructure
- the security of your credentials
- verifying data before relying upon it
- complying with applicable laws and regulations
- obtaining any licenses required for your use of the data
- ensuring that your use of the service does not infringe third-party rights
- maintaining appropriate backup, monitoring, and risk-management mechanisms
Section 13
Fees and payment
Fees, billing periods, usage limits, payment obligations, and plan entitlements apply according to the pricing, subscription, order form, or account terms in force for your account. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, fees are payable in accordance with the stated payment terms.
Flowsig may suspend access to paid services for materially overdue amounts following reasonable notice.
Section 14
Suspension and termination
Flowsig may suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the service, respond to security incidents, address abusive usage, comply with applicable law, comply with provider requirements, address non-payment, or investigate a suspected breach of these Terms.
Either party may terminate a subscription in accordance with the applicable subscription or order terms. Flowsig may terminate the service immediately where continued provision would violate applicable law, third-party licensing restrictions, or create a material security or legal risk.
Section 15
Intellectual property
All rights, title, and interest in the service, software, documentation, website, API implementation, trademarks, and related materials remain with Flowsig or its licensors. Except for the limited rights expressly granted under these Terms, no intellectual-property rights are transferred to you.
You retain ownership of your own systems, software, and data independently supplied to Flowsig. Third-party data and related rights remain subject to the rights of the applicable third parties.
Section 16
Confidentiality
Each party may receive confidential information from the other in connection with the service. Each party agrees to use reasonable measures to protect confidential information and to use it only for purposes connected with the business relationship.
This obligation does not apply to information that becomes public without breach, was already lawfully known, is independently developed without use of confidential information, or must be disclosed by law or competent authority.
Section 17
Data protection
Where Flowsig processes personal data in connection with the service, such processing is intended to be carried out in accordance with applicable data-protection law, including the GDPR where applicable.
The separate privacy notice should be read together with these Terms. Where required by applicable law, the parties may enter into additional data-processing terms reflecting their actual roles and processing activities.
Section 18
Security
Flowsig will implement reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the service. However, no Internet-connected service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
You remain responsible for implementing appropriate security measures within your own systems, including secure credential storage and access controls.
Section 19
Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis without warranties of accuracy, completeness, availability, continuity, timeliness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or suitability for any trading, investment, or operational workflow.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any warranty, guarantee, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.
Section 20
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Flowsig is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, commercial, or trading-related losses arising from use of or inability to use the service, including losses linked to inaccurate or stale data, outages, delayed delivery, integration errors, credential misuse, or third-party infrastructure failures.
Subject to mandatory applicable law, Flowsig's aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service shall not exceed the total fees actually paid for the service during the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.
Section 21
Force majeure
Neither party shall be liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil unrest, governmental action, telecommunications failures, Internet failures, major cybersecurity incidents, infrastructure failures, upstream data outages, or failures of third-party service providers.
Because the service relies in part on external infrastructure and third-party data sources, outages, changes, interruptions, or restrictions affecting those providers may affect all or part of the service without creating a separate guarantee or warranty obligation.
Section 22
Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Flowsig against third-party claims arising from your unlawful use of the service, breach of these Terms, unauthorized redistribution of data, infringement of third-party rights, or use of the service in a manner not authorized by Flowsig.
Section 23
Changes to these Terms
Flowsig may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes may be communicated through the website, service, or other reasonable means.
Continued use of the service after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, except where mandatory law requires additional notice or consent.
Section 24
Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are intended to be governed by French law, subject to any mandatory consumer or jurisdictional protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.
For users acting in the course of their professional business, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts in France, subject to mandatory applicable law and any final court designation inserted after legal review.
Section 25
Entire agreement and contact
These Terms, together with any applicable subscription, order form, pricing terms, data-specific terms, or other documents expressly incorporated by reference, constitute the agreement concerning the service. If there is a conflict between these Terms and a separately signed written agreement, the separately signed agreement shall prevail to the extent of the conflict.
Questions concerning these Terms or the service may be directed to Flowsig. Registered office details, registry information, legal contact information, and any final production legal notices can be inserted after legal review.
